Natoli Engineering Company, Inc. is preparing for its first technical training course of 2009: Fundamentals of Blending, Compression and Coating of Tablets and Tooling. The three-day course will take place on Feb. 24-26 at Natoli’s technical training center in St. Charles, Mo. Developed for individuals involved in the tablet manufacturing industry that desire to improve their fundamental skills, this course is designed to maximize attendees' knowledge of tablet manufacturing, tooling care and tablet presses, while identifying and addressing common industry pitfalls.
The course features a variety of industry experts who will cover valuable tablet-compression topics including tablet shapes, methods of granulating, film coating, tool options/specifications, water activity, wash-in-place technology, tablet force monitoring, dosage problems and more.
Natoli’s technical training center is one of the most influential, non-commercial training centers in the United States that is solely dedicated to the tablet compression industry. The center’s curriculum is structured around hands-on training, theories, case studies, processes and techniques of tablet compression.
